Standing tall on the shores of Dunlop Lake, on a quiet peninsula,  The Sunrise is a modern 3 bedroom, 1700 square foot cottage that sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably. There are 3 bedrooms (master bedroom on the main floor, and 2 bedrooms upstairs - each with a Queen size bed). 

The Sunrise is fully equipped to make your stay as relaxing as possible and the abundance of windows means you will get sun all day from wherever you are in the house. The house design, adjacent landscape and incredible lake make this a stay you will not want to miss.

Located only a 20 minute drive from the city of Elliot Lake , you can easily stock up on all of your needed provisions. The landscape gives an unencumbered and easy passage to Dunlop lake where you can sit on the large dock and soak in the sun, listen to the call of the loons or enjoy the beautiful evening sunsets. If you are a boater, the Dunlop boat launch is located about 2 kilometers down Dunlop Shores Road and you can park your boat at the dock during your stay. Located on the property is a fire pit with firewood that can be used throughout your stay while you look up at the stars. There is a 2 seater kayak available as well as a 12' aluminum boat with oars for your use on the lake.This house is located just a few minutes from the entrance to a large trail system and is a perfect starting point for snow machine or ATV trips.

The master bedroom is located on the main floor, making it suitable for any guests that are less than mobile. It has an en-suite bathroom and a walk out to the deck.  There is also a bathroom on the main floor for general use. 

 The large kitchen is fully modern with a dishwasher, drip coffee maker, microwave, toaster and a blender for your morning smoothies. From the kitchen, you can walk out to the deck where you can enjoy meals cooked on the propane BBQ. The great room is a open concept living and dining room,  with large windows, a wood burning fireplace and ample seating.  

On the 2nd floor, there is a full bathroom and two additional bedrooms with Queen size beds, both with ample room and storage options to store your belongings.

A television (for  DVD’s only- no TV channels),  in the partially finished walk out basement, will entertain kids on those rainy days. A smart TV in the master bedroom with various TV channels, as well as Netflix & Prime Video. Rogers cell service works well. Bell users would need to switch to wifi setting to use their phone.  Unlimited Starlink internet.
